Chinese Journal of Environmental Law (Volume 2, Issue 2, November 2018) was Published


Recently, the Chinese Journal of Environmental Law (CJEL, Volume 2, Issue 2, November 2018, ISSN: 2468-6034) was published. As the first journal of environmental law published from China, CJEL was jointly published by RIEL and Brill.

 

In this issue, three excellent research papers were published, namely “The Evolving Role of Environmental Rights in Climate Change Litigation”, “Addressing Coastal Wetland Decline in China’s Yellow Sea”, “The Legal Principle of Reciprocity and China’s Water Treaty Practice”. Besides, a book review on “Routledge Handbook of Human Rights and Climate Governance” also published.

 

CJEL was officially launched in 2017. It uses a double-blind peer review system and is co-edited by Prof. Qin Tianbao and Prof. Ben Boer. This journal focus on international, comparative, and national research and reviews concerned with environmental law and policy. CJEL encompasses diverse areas of international, regional and national environmental law, including biodiversity law, climate change law, energy law, environmental assessment, marine environmental law, natural resources law, planning law and pollution law, as well as institutional developments such as environmental courts, and compliance and enforcement issues.
