At
the occasion of the "ecological civilization" and the "human
destiny community" being written into the Constitution, the 17th Luojia Forum on Environmental Law and
"The Development of Ecological Civilization and International
Environmental Law: Contribution of China" was held on March 17 and 18,
2018. The conference was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Bureau of Law and the Ministry of Education's key research base of humanities
and social sciences, and Research Institute of Environmental Law of Wuhan
University, and the major project of the Ministry of Education Humanities and
Social Science Key Research Base “Project on International Environmental Law
Development and Ecological Civilization Construction” was organized.
Experts from substantive departments such as the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs’s Bureau of Law, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the
Supreme People’s Court, and more than 50 scholars from Shanghai Jiaotong
University, Tianjin University, Renmin University of China, Jilin University,
Tsinghua University, Nankai University, China University of Political Science
and Law, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Hunan Normal University , Xiamen
University, Shanghai Institute of International Studies, North China Electric
Power University, China Ocean University, University of International Business
and Economics, Shandong University, Shanghai University of International
Business and Economics, Nanjing Central University, Harbin Engineering
University, Wuhan University and other domestic research institutes attended the
forum.
