On November 18, 2017, the Annual Meeting of the Law Society of Hubei Province on Environmental Resources Law and the Symposium on "Beautiful Hubei and Environmental Rule of Law" were held in Hubei University of Economics. This conference is sponsored by the Law Society of Environmental Law of Hubei Province, co-organized by Law School of Hubei Economic University, Hubei Hequan Law Office and Hubei Water Research Center. Professor Du Qun, Associate Professor Luo Ji, Associate Professor Li Guangbing, part of RIEL Friends, PhD students and master students attended the annual meeting.

 

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Qiu Qiu, vice president of the Law Society of Environmental Law of Hubei Province, dean of the School of Law of Hubei Economic University, and Professor Liu Dahong, deputy secretary of the party committee of Hubei University of Economics gave the welcoming speech. Zou Jinwen, vice president of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Professor Gao Lihong of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, RIEL friend, president of Environmental Law Research Institute of Hubei Law Society, respectively delivered speeches.

 

After the opening ceremony, the annual meeting held an excellent paper award ceremony. Gao Lihong, Luo Ji, Qiu Qiu, Liu Dahong, Zou Jinwen award students certificates. A total of 78 papers were collected in the collected papers of the conference. Nine of the master students received the first, second and third prizes and the excellent prizes respectively. RIEL also won the annual outstanding organization award.
