Recently, Hubei Provincial Department of Environmental Protection and Hubei Provincial Department of Justice jointly released the Notice on Hubei Province List of Experts on Registration and Assessment of Environmental Damage Forensic Institutions. Professor Ke Jian and Associate Professor Li Guangbing were selected into Hubei Provincial Expert Database. Prior to this, Professor Qin Tianbao was selected as the expert of the National Institute of Environmental Accreditation for Accreditation of Environmental Accreditation (NPC). RIEL Friends Wang Qingjun, Gao Lihong, Yu Yaowan, Liao Hua, Qiu Qiu and other experts also nominated the list of experts.

 

It is reported that, in order to give full play to the role of experts in forensic work of environmental damage, Hubei Provincial Department of Environmental Protection and Department of Justice organized the selection of experts for forensic assessment of environmental damage Agency registration review expert database.124 experts have been selected into the expert database. Experts who have already been selected as national database will no longer be selected into the Hubei Provincial Expert Database.

 

Under the expert database, there are 7 types of sub-databases: pollutants identification, surface water and sediment, ambient atmosphere, soil and groundwater, ecosystem, environmental economy and other categories (including noise, vibration, light, heat, electromagnetic radiation, nuclear radiation, environmental law, etc.). Work of selected experts include: providing expert opinions on the appraisal of forensic agencies for environmental damage; participating in relevant technical training; undertaking appraisals of environmental damage appraisals entrusted by environmental protection authorities and judicial administrative organs.
