On October 12-13, 2017, Priof. Qin Tianbao, RIEL Director, at the invitation of the French embassy in Beijing, took part in the 2017 China-France environmental month of "the second China-France law and judicial exchange week" activity, the theme of the activity is "city changes and environment: to explore new cities law suitable to the 21st century". Prof. Qin Tianbao presided over the round table of the first unit of the conference, "discussing the status quo of China", and made a keynote speech in the unit on "draft for the world environment convention ".At the same time, at the invitation of the French ambassador to China, Prof. Qin Tianbao attended the cocktail party held at the ambassador's residence on the evening of 12th, and delivered the welcome speech on behalf of the Chinese representative. RIEL friends, Zhang Jjianwei, Ge Feng, Shao Daoping, Pei Yilin, He Tang and the French students of RIEL Yun Lan and Xie Meirong participated in this activity.

 

During the meeting, Prof. Qin Tianbao, as well as representatives from China university of political science and law, Tianjin university and Chinese academy of social sciences, talked with Ms. bao jia jia from the French embassy in China culture education cooperation. The two sides reached preliminary views on strengthening the content and manner of cooperation on environmental law teaching and research cooperation between the two countries. In addition, RIEL participants also distributed to the participants RIEL advertisement materials, and made broad communication and communication with new and old friends, reached broad consensus on further expanding the scope of international cooperation and content of RIEL.
