武汉大学代表队荣获第四届全国模拟环境法庭大赛亚军

WHU wins runner-up in 4^th Model Environment Court

On November 14-15, 2015, the 4th Model Environment Court was held in Chongqing University, after two days of fierce competition, Chongqing University won the championship, and Wuhan University finished runner-up, Shandong University of Science and Technology and Hehai University won third place. Liu Lin, the 2014 doctoral student of RIEL, was awarded the best debater. It was WHU’s another achievement after winning previous championship.

The WHU team coach is Mr. Wu Yu, RIEL, and assistant coach is 2013 PhD Yue Qingyue. Team members include doctoral students Liu Lin, Wu Junya, master students Liu Mengyao, Peng Zhongyao, Wu Dan, undergraduate students Liu Tianhong, Liu Jiachen, Wang Haolin. The team had carried out a careful and meticulous preparation, including reading a large number of treatises and cases, conducting in-depth studies and discussions and strict intensive trainings since the team selection.      

The competition was strongly supported by RIEL and its teachers. Providing venues, equipments and other logistical assistance, RIEL spared no efforts to guarantee smooth competition preparation. Eventually the team fully showed their solid professional knowledge, quick response, good language skills and strict logical thinking in the competition, living up to expectations.
