Dieudonné
Mevono Mvogo is a doctoral student with expertise and research interests in
Environmental Law, Climate Change Law and International Human Rights Law. In
2015, Dieudonné obtained a master’s degree in Public International Law from the
University of Douala, Cameroon. His Master’s dissertation was on ‘Environmental
Protection in the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa Integration
Process’. In 2016, he was awarded a second Master’s degree in International and
Comparative Environmental Law from the University of Limoges, France, for which
he wrote a dissertation entitled ‘Cameroon’s Application of International Legal
Instruments for Fighting Against Climate Change’. In April 2017, he
participated in a training programme on ‘The Justiciability of Economic, Social
and Cultural Rights’ organized by the René Cassin-International Institute for Human
Rights, held in Yaounde, Cameroon. Dieudonné is currently undertaking research
on natural resources protection law and environmental justice. His PhD project
is entitled ‘Environmental Protection and Mining Activities in Africa’.
