At present, the construction of China's ecological civilization is in a critical period. The proposal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality has a profound impact on China's ecological environmental protection work. The development of environmental law is facing new problems, new challenges, and new opportunities. In order to achieve the goal of a beautiful China and carbon neutrality, we need to actively improve legal guarantees, systematically study the compilation of environmental codes, strengthen the construction of regulations in areas such as biodiversity protection, marine environmental protection, and implementation of international environmental conventions.
